Silver box with hallmarks for A.E. Jones, Birmingham,  1911. The box has a domed silver lid with the inscription "Presented to Miss Isabell Jeffcoat by the members of her dancing class, Old School, music and singing pupils, as a token of their esteem and regard, December 18th 1911. The sides of the box are decorated with musical instruments, dancing shoes and references to study.

This is almost certainly a unique commissioned piece. Some elements of the design are found in other boxes but this piece is particularly well made.
