Brass or pale bronze cigarette box attributed to A.E.Jones Ltd, circa 1903. The lid and sides of the box are decorated with repousse strapwork around a centrally mounted Ruskin ceramic roundel. The repousse straps are very similar to those on Box 1 which is clearly attributable to A.E. Jones Ltd.

The repousse work may well have been completed by the well respected craftsman Spencer Pumphrey.

The legs of this box are, in some respects, more crudely made than the legs on boxes made around 1905. However, the overall design is very similar.
