Copper and silver cigarette box made by A.E.Jones Ltd, circa 1905. The lid is decorated with silver strap work around a central blue-green enamel.  The sides of the box are also decorated with silver strapwork with smaller blue-green enamels. The design of the box is possibly by Anne G. Stubbs as it is similar to other boxes and patterns from around 1905. At this time A.E. Jones was using many designs by Anne G. Stubbs.  The box is likely to be cedar lined with central dividers.

To my mind, this particular box is the holy grail for A.E. Jones box collectors. A mixed metal box like this with good patination of the copper and perfect enamels is very rare.

Dimensions unknown.
