Short section on A.E. Jones Ltd but only a small number of images.

2.          Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery. A. Edward Jones: Metalcraftsman. Birmingham, Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery. 1980.

The most informative book I have found. Plenty of information on the history of the firm during the arts and crafts period plus many images.

4.                  Arthur Sutton. A. Edward Jones: Master Silversmith of Birmingham. Birmingham. Jones & Palmer Ltd. 1980.

5.                  Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Collecting by Design: Silver & Metalwork of the Twentieth century from the Margo Grant Walsh Collection. New Haven and London, Yale University Press. 2008.

Margo Walsh collected quite a number of pieces by A.E. Jones Ltd and there are some great images. There is also a selection of copper pieces which are down as "unknown maker" which may well be attributed to A.E. Jones Ltd.

6.                  A.K. Crisp Jones. The Silversmiths of Birmingham and their Marks: 1750-1980. London, NAG Press. 1981.

Written by A.E. Jones's son, Kenneth Crisp Jones, who took over the running of the family firm. Some good information and images.
